Albini Yarns presents the A/W 2026-27 yarn collection

A new chapter for exceptional yarns that combine technological innovation, experimentation, and sustainability.

Starting in 2025, ICA Yarns – the division of Albini Group specializing in the production of high-end yarns made from natural, noble, and sustainable fibres for the apparel and home furnishing sectors – will become Albini Yarns. This strategic rebranding strengthens the brand’s identity, aligning it with Albini Group’s vision and further emphasizing the company’s direct control over the entire supply chain.

In recent years, Albini Yarns has consolidated its leadership position through continuous growth, including the acquisition of a spinning mill in Hungary in 2023, which expanded its product range and reinforced its control over the production process. As part of this evolution, the new Spinning Lab will become operational in 2025 – an experimental laboratory dedicated to researching and developing exclusive, innovative yarns, designed to meet the growing demand for customization from clients.

At the 63rd edition of Filo, Albini Yarns presents the Autumn/Winter 2026-2027 collection, which blends artisanal excellence and sustainability with unique innovations. Key highlights include:

  • Hircus: new mélange yarns made from Biofusion® organic cotton – the scientifically traceable organic cotton exclusively cultivated by Albini Yarns – blended with Sustainable Fibre Alliance (SFA)-certified cashmere. This standard ensures sustainable production practices and fair economic returns throughout the supply chain, from herders to retailers. The collection is named after theHircus goat, a species native to Central Asia that produces only about 150-200 grams of clean cashmere fibre per year, making it extremely rare and precious. The range includes ten sophisticated colour variations that enhance the exclusivity of cashmere and the finesse of cotton, delivering a product that meets the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
  • Blended yarns in Supima® cotton and noble fibres such as silk, cashmere, and wool, developed in the finest yarn counts: combinations of 50% Supima® cotton – an Extra-Long Staple cotton known for its long, fine fibres and primarily grown in California – blended with 50% of the most precious raw materials, including silk, wool, and cashmere. Each material is carefully selected for its quality, sustainability, and traceability, ensuring premium yarns with extremely high counts, produced with full respect for the environment.

2024 ended with stable revenues compared to the previous year – a very positive result considering the extremely complex economic context. We are proud to confirm that Albini Yarns remains a benchmark for high-end yarns, guaranteeing the supply of the finest raw materials and maintaining a constant drive for research and development in creating new high-quality products.”
